Terms of Service

Status: DRAFT — review with counsel before public launch.
Effective date: [DATE]

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Oralynk Orlando website and services (the "Service"), operated by [Legal entity name] ("Oralynk," "we," "us").

1. What the Service is — and is not

Oralynk is a directory and referral-request platform. We help patients find Orlando-area dental specialists and send appointment requests to practices. Oralynk:

  • does not provide medical or dental advice, diagnosis, or treatment;
  • does not employ, supervise, or guarantee any listed provider;
  • does not guarantee appointment availability, treatment outcomes, insurance coverage, or pricing.

Always rely on your own judgment and your treating provider for care decisions. If you have a dental or medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.

2. Directory information

Listings combine information supplied by practices with public records, including Florida Department of Health licensing data and the federal NPI registry. Public-records facts (such as license issuance years) are presented as published by those sources and may lag reality. Accepted-insurance information is self-reported by practices, is not verified by Oralynk unless labeled otherwise, and must be confirmed directly with the office. We may correct or remove listings at any time.

3. Patient use

Submitting a referral request is free for patients and does not create a provider-patient relationship with Oralynk. You agree to submit accurate contact information and only request appointments you intend to keep. The practice you're matched with — not Oralynk — is responsible for confirming scheduling, coverage, and care.

4. Provider accounts

Providers may claim their directory listing and maintain profile information through the portal. You must be authorized to act for the practice you claim, and information you submit (including accepted insurances and availability) must be accurate and kept current. We may suspend accounts, unlink claims, or remove content that we reasonably believe is inaccurate, unauthorized, or misleading.

5. Subscriptions and billing

Optional provider subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe under the plan terms shown at checkout. Plans renew automatically until canceled; cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law. [Confirm refund policy with counsel.]

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by scraping at disruptive volume, submitting false referrals or reviews, impersonating a practice, probing or breaching security, or using the Service to violate any law.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, text, and software, belongs to Oralynk or its licensors. Directory facts drawn from public records remain public; the compilation and presentation are ours.

8. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ACCURACY, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ORALYNK IS NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR THE ACTS OR OMISSIONS OF ANY LISTED PROVIDER. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF $100 OR THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM. [Confirm enforceability with counsel — Florida consumer law.]

10. Changes

We may update the Service and these Terms; material changes will be posted here with a new effective date. Continued use after changes means acceptance.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, with venue in [Orange County], Florida. [Confirm with counsel.]
